The stage is set in Mount Hyjal Crater. After grueling 6-round Swiss qualifiers featuring over 4,000 Level 30 Horde duelists on Saturday, the broadcasted 36-player double-elimination championship finals for the $100,000 Forever Open are now underway live on Twitch.
The 36 Finalists: 4 Champions From Every Class
Hosted by Tips Out, EsfandTV, and Xaryu—with TimTheTatman contributing a $50,000 match to double the prize pool to $100,000—The Forever Open advanced exactly four gladiators from each of the nine classes to battle through Sunday's double-elimination bracket in Blizzard's custom Hyjal Crater Arena.
The Forever Open $100,000 Stakes
- ▸Grand Prize: $50,000 USD to the overall #1 Champion plus the official title 'Death's Duelist'.
- ▸Class Champions: $50,000 total (~$5,555.56 each) distributed to the top-performing competitor of every single class.
- ▸The Cascade Rule: If the Grand Champion finishes #1 in their class, their class purse cascades down to the runner-up of that class.
- ▸Custom Arena: Blizzard built an isolated dueling arena in Hyjal Crater to stage the broadcasted finals free from open-world interference.
Day 1 Swiss Telemetry & Win-Rate Divide
Saturday's qualifiers generated over 4,600 verified duels tracked across Raider.IO and Life on Azeroth, showcasing distinct balance trends in the Level 30 beta bracket:
Qualifier Meta Breakdown
Finished Day 1 as the highest win-rate class. With 15 Paladins finishing a flawless 6-0, tiebreaker brackets were required to narrow down the 4 class finalists.
Demonology and Soul Link builds (5/21/0) dominated attrition duels, sending 14 competitors to 6-0 records into playoff brackets.
Priests were the sole class where exactly 4 competitors finished undefeated cleanly without tiebreakers, with veteran Priest specialist Hydra (Hydramist) advancing after going 5-1 in intense Swiss action.
Warriors recorded the lowest tournament representation and were the only class with zero players advancing undefeated into Sunday's bracket.
Tune into EsfandTV and Xaryu on Twitch to catch the live finals matches, or check live bracket updates directly on Raider.IO and ForeverWiki's Tournament Hub.
